Adele could be set to perform at the closing ceremony for the London Olympics.
Organisers yesterday (February 23) hinted that the singer could headline 'the biggest after-show party'.
The show, which will take place following the Olympic Games in August, is entitled 'British music by British artists’.
Music director David Arnold told the Daily Mail: 'Without saying we have booked anyone, it goes from Elgar to Adele.
'It is not just a pop concert, it is not just a classical rendition. It will be everything that we think is fabulous about British music.'
Meanwhile, Blur special one-off show in Hyde Park this summer to mark the end of the London Olympics.
The band, who performed in Hyde Park back in 2009 for their reunion gigs - will also be joined by The Specials and New Order for the event on Sunday, August 12.
The band told fans over their Facebook: ''We're rowing in.. going for gold.. grabbing the baton.. for the high jump.. No, hang on, is that right? Fact is, Blur have accepted the invite to headline the Olympics' Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert in Hyde Park on 12th August.''
Tickets go on sale today (February 24) at 9am.
