Jack White launched his solo career with a performance on US show Saturday Night Live – you can watch his performances below.

The singer appeared on the show last night (March 3), hosted by actress Lindsay Lohan, where he sang single 'Love Interruption' and 'Sixteen Saltines'.

The former White Strpies member is set to kick off a series of shows across the US in March followed by a slot at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend on June 23-24 in London.

As previously reported the line-up for the event will also include Plan B, Lana Del Rey and The Maccebees.

White's solo album 'Blunderbuss', will be released on Third Man / XL Recordings on April 23.
