Jack White has been confirmed for this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, adding to an already excellent line-up at the sun-soaked event.
The former White Stripes rocker is set to headline the Third Man Records showcase on Friday March 16, along with Karen Elson and John Reilly & Friends, The Black Belles, Pujol and Lanie Lane.
Jack White will perform tracks from his anticipated solo debut album 'Blunderbuss', set for release on April 23.
The festival, which takes place this year in Austin from March 11-20, traditionally mixes new live music with industry conferences.
Acts for this year's festival included Bombay Bicycle Club, Chapel Club, The Naked and Famous and Pulled Apart By Horses. Also performing at the festival is X Factor brat Cher Lloyd.
