US rocker Bruce Springsteen is currently leading the midweek album race with his new album, 'Wrecking Ball' currently holding the UK No.1 spot.
He leaves festive chart toppers, The Military Wives, trailing at No.2 with their debut album, 'In My Dreams'.
"When the choir first came together last summer, I bet none of them believed they would be chomping at The Boss's heels in the charts within the year," said Martin Talbot, managing director the Official Charts Company of the middle-aged chart battle. "If it were a movie script, you wouldn't believe it."
While promoting 'Wrecking Ball' Bruce Springsteen recently joined US comedy host Jimmy Fallon onstage to perform a cover of LMFAO's 'Sexy And I Know It' on American TV.
