Nicki Minaj has told of her plans to dethrone Jay-Z as the leading star of hip-hop.
The 'Starships' rapper, who released her debut in 2009, told Allure magazine she is determined to take the top spot.
''I never thought about music as just being the end-all, be-all," she said. "I always looked at it like a business, something that I could create an empire out of."
Minaj added: "I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria's Secret fashion show. He said, 'Congratulations on all your success'. And I was like, 'Yeah, I'm coming for you. I'm coming for your spot, Mr.Mogul.'"
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has been added to the line-up for this year's T In The Park festival.
The Scottish event, which is set to take place from July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross, will be headlined by The Stone Roses, Kasabian and Snow Patrol.
Other additions to the bill include Happy Mondays, New Order, Tinie Tempah, Example, Kaiser Chiefs, Pete Doherty, Elbow and Alabama Shakes.
