Nicki Minaj teases forthcoming 'surprise' gigs

US rapper Nicki Minaj has teased fans with the promise of a string of 'surprise' gigs alongside dates already confirmed in 2012.

The rapper told followers on Twitter of her plans to stage surprise appearances, telling fans to make sure they were familiar with her lyrics before she embarks on her upcoming tour.

"Lots of surprise shows cmn up. The barbz betta know EVERY word to EVERY song. That's all ima say bout DOT!!!!" Minaj told fans on Twitter.

She also told fans how she was writing new tracks with 'sum1 u know ur gna love it' - but refused to reveal who her latest collaborator was.

Minaj is currently confirmed to perform a London's Hammersmith Apollo on 24-25 June 2012, Birmingham's NIA Academy on 26 June, 2012 and Manchester's O2 Apollo on 28 June, 2012.
