Fans of Adele are in for a long wait for a follow up to her all-conquering '21' album, with the head of her US record label revealing she may not release new music until 2014.
Speaking to The Music Network recently, CEO of Columbia Records Rob Stringer revealed how the record label would allow the star to take her time recording a follow up.
"That’s up to her," said Stringer, when asked about a new Adele album. "We certainly won’t have a record this year, or next year. She can take as long as she wants."
The hunt is on for 'the new Adele' to fill the two-year gap.
