The first episode of season 4 of Nurse Jackie, which sees Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong make a cameo appearance, has premiered in full on Youtube.
Having flexed his thespian muscles on Broadway as part of the Green Day stage show American Idiot, Armstrong plays the role of a stranger who Nurse Jackie (Edie Falco) meets randomly, causing a major change in her life.
The episode is not due to air until April 8th but Showtime have made the episode free to watch on their Youtube channel. You can also see the first episodes of the network's other returning series The Big C and The Borgias ahead of their new season premieres as well.
Season 4 of Nurse Jackie will see the drug-addicted medical worker finally seek help for her demons. Guest stars on the season are set to include Bobby Cannavale, Rosie Perez, Joel Grey, Aida Turturro, Stephen Wallem, Arjun Gupta and Lenny Jacobson.
Meanwhile, Green Day recently announced their first live dates of 2012.
