Michelle Obama replies to Beyonce praise via Twitter

Michelle Obama has thanked Beyonce for a hand written letter she received from her.

Earlier this week we reported on the letter, which Beyonce wrote to Michelle praising her skills as both a Mother and First Lady, and later published on her official website.

Reaching out to Beyonce via Twitter, which Beyonce recently started using after amassing millions of followers without ever Tweeting, Michelle said:

"@Beyonce Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to. –mo."

In Beyonce's original letter she wrote, "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has said she is determined to collaborate with Beyonce in the future.
