Adele's second album '21' has returned to the top spot, almost 15 months after its initial release.
The album, which was released on 24 January 2011, dethrones Nicki Minaj, whose 'Pink Friday - Roman's Revenge' album slips to No.2, while the much-hyped Alabama Shakes debut at No.3 with their album, 'Boys & Girls'. Adele was recently named the richest UK musician under 30, worth an estimated £20 million.
Meanwhile, on the singles chart, US pop sensation Carly Rae Jepson spends a second week at No.1 with her single, 'Call Me Maybe'. The singer is the protege of Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber - who scores a new entry at No.2 with his new single 'Boyfriend'.
Also new in the Top Ten singles chart, Usher scores a new hit at No.4 with 'Climax', while record-breaking US chart topper 'We Are Young' by Fun. featuring Janelle Monae is new at No.7. UK rapper Sway debuts at No.8 with his new track, 'Level Up'.
