The Billboard Music Award nominations have been announced in America, and unsurprisingly Adele leads the pack.
The Brit has been recognised in the Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist categories, while her hit 'Rolling in the Deep' is a contender in seven additional categories.
In all, Adele is up for 18 awards, but she was not the only one to receive recognition with LMFAO just trailing her with 17 nominations. Rihanna is up for 13 gongs - 5 less than last year.
The mainstream ceremony recognises artists who feature in the Billboard charts between February 2011 and March of this year, and will take place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on May 20.
