Following the release of his debut solo album and first ever UK show, plans for Jack White's next project have been revealed.
White is set to score the movie adaptation of classic TV series, The Lone Ranger - which will star Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer from The Social Network.
The new adaptation is a Disney production, with Jerry Bruckheimer producing the movie.
"Jack's an amazing songwriter with a unique style. We're thrilled to hear his fresh take on the William Tell Overture," says Bruckheimer. Gore (Verbinski, director) hatched the idea and Johnny was thrilled with it. We're all very excited to have him on board."
The Lone Ranger is due for release in 2013.
