Adele, PJ Harvey, Take That pick up Ivor Novello awards

Adele, PJ Harvey and Take That were among this year's big winners at the Ivor Novello Awards, held in London this afternoon.

The awards, which took place at Grosvenor House in London, look to reward song writing and craft throughout the previous year with PJ Harvey taking home the prestigious Album Award for her 'Let England Shake' record.

Meanwhile, Adele's inescapable 'Rolling In The Deep' won the PRS award for Music Most Performed Work as she also collected the prize for Songwriter of the Year.

Elsewhere there were wins for Lana Del Rey, Siouxsie Sioux, Gary Kemp and an Outstanding Contribution award for Take That.
