M.I.A. has signed a new management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Management, being welcomed to the group by Rihanna.
The UK rapper behind hits such as 'Paper Planes' and 'Bad Girls' will release her fourth album later this year and has hooked up with the music giants to help her reach the next level in her career. The news was confirmed via a statement on Roc Nation's official website yesterday, (May 24).
M.I.A. joins a roster which includes Rihanna, Rita Ora, Wale, Shakira, Santigold, Ester Dean, Meek Mill, and Melanie Fiona.
Rihanna was the first star to reach out to M.I.A. following the news, Tweeting a picture of the pair together and saying: “welcome home MIA.”
M.I.A. recently previewed her new album, to be titled Matangi, with a clip of the song 'Come Walk With Me'.
