Michael Fasbender has spoken of his hopes for a sequel to new Ridley Scott movie, Prometheus.

The actor revealed his desire to stick with the new potential franchise in an interview with Digital Spy.

When asked about his interest in returning for a sequel, the actor said: "That's what I'm hoping."

He added that his experience filming the first film made him feel like he was part of something 'special'

"I felt very privileged to be part of the team and it also made me concern myself that I wasn't a weak part of the team, that I did my homework as best I could and that I came to work and had something to offer," he added.

"I think for all of us on the job, all crew members, have a feeling that they're working on something special when they're working with Ridley."
