A man has been killed after a stage collapsed ahead of a Radiohead show in Canada.
The man, a worker involved in pre-gig preparations, died when the stage collapsed in Downsview Park, Toronto. Three others were injured in the disaster, which happened hours before the band were due to perform.
The show was cancelled and ticket holders were promised refunds. Radiohead were on the Canada leg of their current world tour, and had performed in Montreal the previous night.
Earlier this week, Radiohead were criticised by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, who called the band 'pompous', and said he had no idea why Jonny Greenwood of the band was a more valued musician than Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple.
Radiohead's tour reaches the UK later this year. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
