A new biography of X Factor judge and solo star Tulisa has revealed that she was arrested after a gangland stabbing incident in 2008.

Tulisa was with ex-boyfriend Adam Bailey at the time and was quizzed by the police after fleeing the scene of the crime in London. The 'Young' star even testified in court over the incident when Bailey was tried for dangerous driving and stabbing with intent.

The stabbing incident reportedly happened in a London club when a fight involving 20 people broke out. Tulisa's cousin, and N-Dubz bandmate, Dappy was at the club though it is not known if he was involved in the brawl. Author Sean Smith's book is serialised in The Star today (June 18), revealing that Tulisa called her manager before contacting the police as she worried about the groups image being tarnished.

Tulisa was freed without charge following her arrest whilst Bailey was cleared by the court.
