Breakfast radio star Chris Moyles has teamed up with Brighton hip-pop duo Rizzle Kicks to record a track with the 'Down With The Trumpets' rappers.
Yesterday it was revealed that Chris Moyles would be touring the UK with his 'mates' later in 2012, and it is likely that the Rizzle Kicks track will be performed at the live shows.
Moyles told listeners that he had joined Jordan 'Rizzle' Stephens and Harley 'Sylvester' Alexander-Sule in the studio to record a track where he takes turn with the pair to trade insults about each other's age. The DJ revealed the collaboration on his penultimate morning presenting the Radio One breakfast show before he is replaced by new host Nick Grimshaw.
The 38-year-old added however that he struggled to find any worthy insults about being just 20.
Speaking of the lyrics to the track, he told listeners: "'You're so old that you're in black and white', or whatever - and I go 'you're so young ....'. There's no you're so young jokes.
"For literally ten minutes, they ripped me to pieces - 'you're so young you've never heard of Morecambe & Wise'."
Nick Grimshaw will start in the Breakfast show slot on 24 September 2012.
