Ryan Adams has officially joined The Lemonheads as the band's new drummer and will also produce their first album in six years, it has been confirmed.
Adams will step into the studio with Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield, who has officially joined the group as bassist. Guitarist Ben Deily completes the group, joining the band for the first time since quitting in 1989.
The Lemonheads will get back in the studio to record their first album since 2006's self-titled release after playing an upcoming tour with The Psychedelic Furs.

It was recently reported that Ryan Adams is also working on new material with his wife, the former pop star and actress Mandy Moore.
