Plan B has said he resents being taxed by the UK government and that he does not trust politicians with the money.
As a high earner, the 'iLL Manors' rapper, real name Ben Drew, is taxed at the highest rate of income tax (around 40%) by the Conservative/ Lib Dem coalition. However, Plan B claims he is against the tax as, "the Government don't give you a choice about where the money goes".
As a way of combating this, Plan B tells the Independent that he is setting up a scheme where £1 from all his ticket sales goes straight to a charity he has set up to help charity named Each One Teach One.
"I want to give money to the individuals within the community who are doing great things, but are struggling to do them because they've got no financial support," he says.
Plan B will play to thousands of people during his 2013 arena tour. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
