Unlike a lot of rap songs out there, this is a real story behind this that is as emotive as it is easy to listen to. At just 18, it would be easy for Earl to rap about material things in a world where too many of his piers talk about money and women. The integrity and sombre feel of this Earl Sweatshirt track should be deeply appreciated.
Earl has named his new album 'Doris' and it is due out on Columbia Records soon.
