Arpad Miklos, the gay porn star who featured in Perfume Genius' 'Hood' video, has been found dead at his apartment, of an apparent suicide.
In an interview with "Gwissues", which is a program on the LGBT YouTube channel Gwist, writer Randal Lynch confirms that Miklos was found dead at his New York apartment, aged 45.
Lynch said that a suicide note had been found, adding, "He was a great guy on top of [being a porn star]. There was a lot more to him than just that surface persona. He was a very active person in the gay community.
"He wasn't happy, I would say, but he wasn't going into crying fits. He was a hard nut to crack."
The video clip for 'Hood' was released in January 2012, and showed Miklos together with Perfume Genius' Mike Hadreas.
Speaking about the video last year, Hadreas explained his choice of using a large, bulkier man in the video, saying he wanted to show that they can have feelings too.

"I don't like the idea that people would automatically think something is nasty," he said.
"If I just got my boyfriend to be in there with me, people could just pass it off as cute because we're both boyish. I like the idea of not having things be so obvious."
