Shaun Ryder has urged Charlotte Church not to discuss her private life in the media until she's older, as he reckons that she'll regret some of her comments in a few years time.

Shaun, who earlier this weekend expressed his sympathy for troubled young stars and their drug problems, is unimpressed with Church discussing her lovelife with the press, deeming her immature.

Ryder, 43, says: "Charlotte Church might be a mature singer but she isn't a mature person. She's a child.

"When she gets to about 28 she will be absolutely embarrassed at what she's doing now and how she's talking about boyfriends and stuff. It's humiliating."
