Solange joined The xx during their Coachella set to perform a rendition of the late R&B star Aaliyah's 'Hot Like Fire'.
The xx were 20 minutes into their performance at the Californian festival when they were joined by Beyonce's younger sister for the track. Solange wasn't on the bill for Coachella, but made a surprise appearance for the performance.
Solange also performed her song 'Locked in Closets' with the band from her EP True, and told the audience, "Let's dance!"
The British duo played an near hour long set on the mainstage, with singer Romy Madley Croft telling the huge crowd, "Coachella it really is a dream come true to be playing on the main stage. Thank you so much for bringing us here."

In an interview with Elle before the performance, Madley Croft said, "I think playing on the main stage here at Coachella is a big one. And we will be checking that one off tonight! The sheer scale of the main stage is incredible. It’s massive! The amount of people who come to see you, it’s just more pressure.
"When I think about myself as a teenager going to festivals, you look to the main stage as the main entertainment of the night. Now that we are playing higher up on the bills, I feel that pressure. I want to deliver to these people. I want to make their Saturday night fun!"
