The Met Office have predicted a wet weekend for festival-goers heading to Download, while music fans at the Isle of Wight may be a bit more lucky.

Rock fans flocking to Donington Park in Leicestershire to see Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, 30 Seconds to Mars, Iron Maiden and Rammstein may want to make sure they pack plenty of waterproofs as a fair amount of rain has been forecast throughout the weekend.

Meanwhile, those on their way to Newport on the Isle of Wight to see The Killers, Bon Jovi, Stone Roses and Bloc Party are a bit more fortunate with mild conditions predicted and maybe even some sunshine.
