Bruce Springsteen is recording new material with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, following up from 2012's 'Wrecking Ball.
'The Boss' has also revealed that he's been working with the rest of the E Street Band in a studio in Sydney.
Speaking to Rolling Stone Springsteen said: "We've never had a recording session during a tour in our lives. We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down. So that was very exciting. And being with Tommy was exciting.
He continued: "The band – Steven, Nils, all those guys – continues to be a source of inspiration for me."
Springsteen added he's 'very happy' with his new material, revealing: "I have stuff I'm working on that I'm very happy about. I hate to say, because I don't like to be wrong, but I have a lot of material. I still feel like I'm in the middle of the well,"

Morello also worked on Springsteen's Wrecking Ball and covered for E Street guitar player Steven Van Zandt, during the bands recent Australian tour.
Springsteen also dedicated his classic 1975 album 'Born To Run' over the weekend (June 20) to the actor James Gandolfini, who passed away at the age of 51, performing his show at Coventry's Ricoh Arena in tribute to the late actor.
