Franz Ferdinand have announced a low-key gig in East London tonight, ahead of the release of their new album, Right Thoughts, Right Words.
The indie stars will perform at the Dalston Victoria pub tonight (5 July, 2013) and tickets will be available from the venue.
Right Thoughts, Right Words will be their fourth album and a follow-up to 2009's Tonight, and is already available for pre-order. The album will be officially released on 26 August, and could see a return to the sound heard on their self-titled debut.
Frontman Alex Kapranos described the album as "The Intellect Vs The Soul, played out by some dumb band."
Tonight's gig was announced on Franz Ferdinand's official Facebook page - with tickets to be available on the door for £15.
Supporting them tonight come in the form of Telegram, with Veronica Falls DJing.
