Jack White has hit back at his estranged wife Karen Elson's claims that he has harassed her and is unfit to father their children.
It has already been alleged that Elson has obtained a restraining order against the musician after a series of 'bullying' and 'harassment', but White's reply firmly denies her accusations.
Rolling Stone claim that the motion filed by White's lawyer states, "The reason for filing this response is that Mr. White does not want to be portrayed as something he is not, violent toward his wife and children."
The file also quotes a series of emails from Elson in which she actually praises White for his parenting skills. In an email dated May 19, 2013, Elson wrote: "You're an amazing father, I'm so glad we had these kids together".
White's attorney, Cathy Speers Johnson, also claims Elson's motion for a psychiatric exam "inflammatory . . . . disingenuous, fraudulent and retaliatory and simply designed to malign him in the public record or to gain an upper hand in this litigation."

Elson and White decided to end their relationship in 2011 and are due in court on August 29, 2013 for a custody hearing involving the two children they had together.
Although the pair had been raising their children amicably since 2011, it is believed that tensions heightened after a European trip which saw Elson take their children away for ten days longer than White had previously agreed.
