The second day of Bestival was brought to an epic climax by Snoop Dogg and Franz Ferdinand, as the Saturday of the Isle Of Wight bash enjoyed a day of sunshine yesterday (Saturday 7 September).
Taking to the main stage before a backdrop of his face, Snoop Dogg headlined the Saturday night with a hit-packed set that united Robin Hill County Park in a deep, 90 minute bounce. With a set that included 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and a cover of Katy Perry's 'California Gurls', Snoop ended day two with a brilliant celebration.
Prior to the rapper taking to the stage, Franz Ferdinand delivered a tight and headline-worthy set that saw the Scottish four-piece fire through fan favourites and hit singles as Bestival danced its way hard into the darkness.

Other highlights of the day included Rudimental ending their summer festival season in a brilliantly explosive style, Bastille attracting a fair amount of wild teens to their performance, The Roots playing a sun-soaked set of soul and funk on the main stage and Johnny Marr pulling an impressive crowd to the Big Top tent for a raucous performance of Smiths classics and cuts from his solo album, The Messenger.
The final day of the event has already seen Bestival favourites The Dub Pistols play a mind-blowing set on the main stage. Following a lively and hilarious yoha demonstration, Barry Ashworth and co tore Robin Hill County Park apart with a skank-filled, victorious set that proves why they have such a standing as veterans and festival kings.
