Singer-songwriter Sia Furler has announced she is working on a new album and hopes for it to be released in early 2014.

Furler, who has recently lended her unique vocals to massive hits such as David Guetta's 'Titanium', told fans on her Facebook page: "Finishing up my album this week with the spectacular Greg Kurstin...release date pencilled in for March."

The album, which will be Sia's sixth, will be her first solo work since 2010's We Are Born. Since then, she has gained massive exposure thanks to her turns on worldwide hits by David Guetta and Flo Rida, and even writing that little known song by Rihanna, 'Diamonds'.

In June, the Australian singer revealed on Twitter that she had signed controversial rapper Brooke Candy as the first artist to her own label, Monkey Puzzle Records.

With Grammy award winning producer Kurstin on board, the album already sounds promising.
