EDM producer Zedd has spoken out about working with Lady Gaga on her much-hyped forthcoming album, ARTPOP.
Speaking to Billboard backstage at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas, Zedd said that the Fame star was more challenging that many of the other artists he had worked with.
"It was very interesting to have someone say, 'I think we should change this and that,' because I usually don't get that," the 'Clarity' producer admitted of Gaga.
He continued: "So it's like a positive fight - you try to make the best for a song, and...you learn to compromise and find new ways, and I think that ultimately the songs get to a point that I would never be able to get to myself."
This snippet of information is bound to excite Gaga's die-hard Little Monsters, for whom ARTPOP is a long time coming.

The album was first announced back in July and since then has been cloaked in secrecy, apart from the release of first single 'Applause', which was rush-released in August after being leaked online. Alongside Zedd, producers DJ White Shadow and Madeon are also said to be working on the record.
Zedd, real name Anton Zaslavski, has a record coming out of his own, a deluxe version of last year's Clarity, updated to include recent hit 'Stay The Night', featuring Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams.
ARTPOP is due to be released in November, with the tracklisting (apparently) being unveiled in five days time, on the 29 September.
