Django Django have poked fun at X Factor boyband Kingsland Road, stating on Twitter that they will be starting their own boyband, similarly named after a London street.
Kingsland Road are among the finalists on this year's X Factor, and will be mentored by Gary Barlow during the remainder of the 2013 live shows. They are currently eighth favourites to win the show, ahead of Sam Callahan, Luke Friend, Lorna Simpson and Shelley Smith. Django Django have clearly been catching up on the TV talent show, taking to Twitter to mildly mock the boyband's choice of name.
"Gonna leave django and start a boy band called seven sisters road," they wrote on Twitter. Kingsland Road are named after one of the coolest areas in London. Seven Sisters road is in Finsbury Park, North London, and is anything but cool.

Django Django have also today been added to the line-up of this year's Hogmanay celebration, joining Chvrches and Pet Shop Boys at the New Years Eve show.
