Fans have taken to Twitter to condemn US rapper George Watsky, after his stage dive at London's Vans Warped Tour on Sunday (November 17), left one attendee with a broken arm and others injured.

Despite Watsky's extensive apology he posted on his Facebook this morning, many are still angry about the ill-advised stunt, which left the rapper unconscious and broke a girl's arm.

Taking to Twitter, @aestreeter said: "What George Watsky did in London wasn't showmanship - it was horrendously irresponsible and not cool. Others were hurt aside from him."

@poppyyy123 agreed: "George Watsky is a idiot, did he actually expect people to try to catch him jumping feet first from that hight!? Any injury he got is karma."

Some stuck the knife in even further, with @jaydowen quipping: "applause to george watsky for jumping 40ft into the crowd and having to be taken away in an ambulance. natural selection at its finest." @WJKinnaird said: "George Watsky deserves to be in hospital. What a dick."

However, some showed their support for Watsky, expressing relief he wasn't injured. @GemmaCoupland said: "If what I'm hearing about George Watsky is true - what an idiot! But I really hope he's all right because I do like him." @sincerelybeaa even said: "I would pay to have George Watsky break my arm." Hmmm.

Watch Watsky's jump below:

Watsky, who was performing at Alexandra Palace with LA MC Wax, jumped from the top of a 40 foot lighting rig during the duo's set. He landed on the concrete below, knocking himself unconscious, but, unbelievably, not sustaining any injuries. However, a number of attendees did, with one girl breaking her arm and another man being taken to hospital.

Watsky, 27, posted an apology on Facebook this morning, in which he admitted his actions were "stupid and wildly irresponsible", denied he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and claimed to have spent six hours at the hospital waiting to see if the injured fans were okay.
