Ke$ha has joined The Flaming Lips to cover 'Elizabeth My Dear', taken from The Stone Roses' self-titled debut album, which was originally released by the band in 1989.

The Flaming Lips have recreated their own version of The Stone Roses album for a special Record Store Day release, which also features collaborations with Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, Spaceface, Peaking Lights and many more.

The collaboration doesn't come as a shock to most as there were previous talks of a collaborative album, from the artists, that would have been called Lip$a - but it is now known that it will never be released.

Wayne Coyne, Flaming Lips frontman, tweeted last month: "As of now...sadly there will be no Lip$ha...I can't say why...It is sad..."
