More about: Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters played their first official comeback gig last night, with an epic show at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City. See photos, footage and setlist details below.
Following the band's surprise gig at a pizza restaurant in California earlier this week, Dave Grohl and co delighted their Mexican fans with a hit-packed set at the 55,000-capacity venue.
As well as a host of Foos classics and fan favourites, the band didn't debut any new tracks but did cover 'Blackbird' by The Beatles, 'In The Flesh?' by Pink Floyd and 'Breakdown' by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.

Currently, Foo Fighters are working on their forthcoming album with a 2014 release date in mind. Grohl told Rolling Stone magazine that the band had taken a whole new approach to the making of the record, which will be their eighth.
"It’s badass," he said. "We’re doing something that nobody knows about, it’s fucking rad. We begin recording soon, but we’re doing it in a way that no one’s done before and we’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before."
