Damon Albarn, frontman of Britpop group Blur has announced his first solo performance at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday 19th January.
Earlier on this week Damon Albarn revealed that his debut solo record will be out this year through a short video clip on YouTube. Now, the singer will be making his first solo performance at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend.
Albarn will reportedly be playing a mixture of new material from his forthcoming album as well as a handful of Blur hits.
The Blur frontman hasn't yet revealed much more information regarding the album, other than that he has been working with producer Richard Russell.

Until now, Damon Albarn has been touring internationally with Blur as well as writing and recording new music for The Gorillaz. Now though, it would seem his main focus is on his solo career.
