Kelis has given fans a further taste of her new direction, previewing another track from her forthcoming album FOOD. Check out 'Rumble' below.
The raw, laid-back soul-tinged groove is similar in style to previously aired lead single 'Jerk Ribs', and is indeed demonstrative of the new "orchestral" sound she promised fans.

Kelis recently unveiled the artwork and tracklisting to FOOD, which, unsurprisingly, seems to be culinary-themed, featuring tracks such as 'Biscuits 'N Gravy', 'Cobbler' and 'Breakfast'. The record, Kelis' sixth, is produced by Dave Sitek, of TV On The Radio fame.
The singer told HipHollywood.com FOOD will be very different to her previous effort, 2010's electronic Flesh Tone. "It's full band," she said. "It's got a horn section, strings and an orchestra - it's very dramatic...I'm really excited about it. I don't rush to put albums out, so when I do I like to wallow in them a bit."
FOOD will be released April 21.
