Emma Willis has ruled out the chances of her hosting the BRIT Awards next year after the departure of James Corden.
The host of The Voice and Celebrity Big Brother was playing down rumours that she'd be taking the baton from the Gavin and Stacey star, after Corden had said that he'd love for her to do so next year.
Willis told The Sun: "It would be an amazing thing to do but also incredibly nerve-wracking.
"I don't think I'm quite ready for that gig just yet."
Last week's ceremony marked the final time that actor and comedian Corden will host the ceremony, after the Gavin And Stacey star admitted that it was time for him to step down to 'keep things fresh'.
Corden himself tipped Willis for the role, saying: "If I had my way, it would be Emma hands down. I feel like the Brits has been quite male-dominated. I think it would really benefit from having a woman."
Previously, Radio One Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw revealed that he'd gladly follow in Corden's footsteps and take up the prestigious role.
"I think it's big shoes to fill because James Corden's very, very good at it," Grimshaw told Digital Spy . "But yeah, I'd love to do it.
