Last year, Canadian duo Dvbbs (pronounced 'dubs') and Miami DJ Borgeous topped the charts across Europe with the original instrumental 'Tsunami', before recruiting London rapper Tinie Tempah for the vocal (Jump) mix.
"It’s amazing!" DVBBS told BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show host Jameela Jamil. "It’s just been a huge rollercoaster for the last six months, and now to finally have a UK Number 1 with Tinie Tempah is a dream come true.
"We’ve always wanted to work with Tinie after listening to some of the songs he’s done with Swedish House Mafia and Calvin Harris; he adds such a special vocal over the top of dance records. We can’t wait to perform it with him live!"
The collective beat 'My Love' by Route 94 featuring Jess Glynne, which came in at No.2. Elsewhere, former No.1 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams came in at No.4, while 'I'm A Freak' by Enrique Iglesias landed at No.4 and 'Rather Be' by Clean Bandit completes the top 5.

Meanwhile, Elbow have scored their first No.1 album with their sixth LP, The Take Off And Landing Of Everything. The Mercury-winning Mancunian heroes beat Paloma Faith, whose new album A Perfect Contradiction came in at No.2.
Pharrell Williams' G I R L slips down to No.3, while Bad Blood by Bastille clings to the charts again at No.4 and Arctic Monkeys complete the top 5 with AM.
