One of the most eagerly anticipated TV series of the autumn, Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Freak Show, is set to feature Jessica Lange covering a Lana Del Rey track.
Amid the curiosity regarding the series two headed heroine Bette and Dot, bearded lady Kathy Bates and Twisty ("the most terrifying clown of all time"), the show's creator Ryan Murphy revealed the detail on Twitter when responding to a fan query.
@ttbradley Tina, don't be afraid! The clown is scary, true. But don't you wanna see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song?

According to the official synopsis, Lange plays Elsa Mars, "a German ex-pat who runs one of the last remaining Freak Shows in America. Her Freak Show has been bombing for some time now; it’s just not bringing the punters in anymore. Her character is very manipulative; her discovery of Bette and Dot breathes new life into her Freak Show."
Speculation has now begun over which song Lange, who has won two Academy Awards and five Golden Globes, will perform. Billboard have requested 'Money Power Glory' or 'Once Upon a Dream' but we'd personally love to see a suitably deranged version of 'Fucked My Way To The Top'.
American Horror Story: Freak Show begins on Fox UK on 21 October at 10pm.
