After Kesha filed a lawsuit against her former producer DR LUke for physical and sexual abuse this week, hand-written letters to fans have emerged in which she says the producer "tortured me & my family."
In a report by TMZ, Kesha has claimed the producer - real name Lukasz Gottwald - would ply her with drugs and alchohol, be physically violent towards her and, on one occasion, forced himself on her. In another instance the producer apparently gave the singer what he described as "sober pills" which resulted in Kesha waking up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed with no memory of how she got there.

This is not the first time that Kesha has accused the producer of abusive behaviour. She claimed back in January that Luke was responsible for her developing an eating disorder, including describing her as "a fat f***ing refrigerator."
It has now emerged through Buzzfeed that while she was in rehab, before she went public with the abuse allegations, the singer wrote several letters to fans which included lines such as, "Dr Luke has tortured me & my family... he did do what people know about + SO much more terrible shit." In another, she says, "Someone I work with has literally driven me into this disease, tortured me, and fucked with me and my family, so I'm here taking time getting my magic back."

Dr Luke has responded saying that the accounts are fake and he is also filing a lawsuit against the singer. According once again to TMZ he says "the pack of lies" is being engineered by Kesha's mother, Pebe and Kesha's new management firm. Luke claims Kesha tried to extort him by threatening to spread lies about him to a blogger who started a 'Free Kesha' website [which appears to be here] unless he released her from her recording contract."
Dr Luke has co-written or co-produced more than 30 Top ten singles since 2004 and including Miley Cyrus 'Wrecking Ball', Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone and Katy Perry's Roar. He signed Kesha when she was 18 and produced her first key tracks 'Right Round' and 'Tik Tok'.
