More about:

The Charlatans have announced the release of their new album Modern Nature, as well as a 2015 UK tour. Full dates and ticket details are below.

The album of course comes after a difficult year for the band, as their old friend and drummer Jon Brookes sadly passed away due to brain cancer. Tony Rogers stated that they were determined to make a new record in order to honour Brookes:

"Jon was adamant that there was going to be another Charlatans record," he said, "and you have to put that into your own thoughts."

The album, entitled Modern Nature will feature eleven new tracks and will be released on 1 December. The album features three drummers, Pete Salisbury of The Verve Fame, Stephen Morris of New Order and Gabriel Gurnsey of Factory Floor. The album will be released on various formats such as CD, vinyl, deluxe CD and deluxe coloured vinyl.
