Elton John has announced details of UK stadium tour for 2015 (which just happens to be in the run-up to Glastonbury). Full dates and ticket details are below. 

The Piano Man stunned fans with his epic Bestival headline slot in 2013, and subsequent tour. Now he'll be returning to the UK for a string of massive dates next June.

While he's around, maybe he could stop by a UK festival or two - namely Isle Of Wight or perhaps Glasto? May the wild speculation begin.

Back in 2005, Sir Elton gave his views on headling Glastonbury to Mylo in the Guardian. When asked about Glastonbury he said "Oh no, I'm too much like the Queen Mother.... I don't know whether I'd get bottles hurled at me. I think Rod [Stewart] was very brave to do it. I'm too much of a wimp." when asked about audience reaction. "I know where I stand. I think there are some things best left to younger people." However we hope after Bestival he'll rethink the decision.
