Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' has returned to dominate the charts, breaking a streaming record while it's at it.

The infectious single that features Bruno Mars has removed X Factor winner Ben Haenow from the top spot, and his mediocre single 'Something I Need'. The track was streamed 2.49 million times this week, breaking the previous record of 2.34. It is the only song in the UK to break 2 million streams in one week.

The song is taken from Ronson's upcoming album Uptown Special, which is due for release 19 January.

Meanwhile Ed Sheeran's X has also made a comeback in the album charts, retrieving its slot at No.1. This makes its 12th consecutive week at the top of the charts. There are no new entries in the top 50.
