Ed Sheeran joined Top Gear for their 22nd series and, despite the fact that he doesn't have a driving license, drove their 'reasonably priced car' around the race track - and off it.
The 23-year-old had never driven before taking part in the show. He was driven around the track by the Stig before attempting it himself, and managed to get partway round before sliding off the track at Dunsfold Aerodrome.
I'm driving for the first time ever today, on a race track, on tv. Wish me luck

Sheeran is not the first to drive on the show without a license - as BBC Newsbeat points out, previous novices include Jack Whitehall and Johnny Vegas (who drove round the track with L plates on the car).
Sheeran was unharmed by the mishap, and reassured fans on Twitter that he had enjoyed filming the episode.
Had a brilliant time filming top gear today. Tune in on Sunday

He was also quick to address rumours that he crashed the car, tweeting the correction:
And I didn't crash on top gear, I went off road. Was my first time driving ever. Tune in Sunday to see what actually happened

He will appear in the first episode of the series, which will be aired on Sunday.
Now, Sheeran has responded to Gallagher's remarks, simply stating: "I can live in it, it's really enjoyable".
