More about:

Mumford & Sons have just shared a brand new song called ‘The Wolf’, which is taken from their third studio album Wilder Mind.

‘The Wolf’ premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio One show, and its official video will be released next week.

Listen to Mumford & Sons' 'The Wolf':

Wilder Mind is scheduled to hit shelves on May 4 via Gentlemen Of The Road/Island Records. The album, which was recorded at Air Studios in London and was produced by James Ford, includes songs which were written collaboratively by the band in London, Brooklyn, and Texas.

Mumford & Sons have been showcasing new material at a handful of secret, last-minute shows in London and New York. The band recently released ‘Believe’, which also appears on their forthcoming album, and it was met with mixed reviews with heavy comparisons to Coldplay. Like ‘Believe’, ‘The Wolf’ has a lack of banjo and more of a rock, drum-heavy feel, and it’s been met with quite positive feedback at the band’s recent gigs.

The tracklisting for Wilder Mind is:
Tompkins Square Park
Believe
The Wolf
Wilder Mind
Just Smoke
Monster
Snake Eyes
Broad-Shouldered Beasts
Cold Arms
Ditmas
Only Love
Hot Gates
