The band brought their new album, Wilder Mind, up North
29 August 2015: If you measure a headline set's success on whether or not the crowd rip the lead singer's shirt off or not, then Mumford & Sons' Leeds Festival set was an absolute triumph.
By most standards, in fact, that band's performance was one that will surely have won over even their most fervent detractors. With a set that included several tracks from the band's rockier, banjo-lite new album Wilder Mind, as well as classic singalongs 'Little Lion Man' and 'The Cave', the night ended with Marcus Mumford entering the crowd and emerging with his shirt ripped open.
Unfortunately / fortunately, depending on how you feel, we didn't capture that. We did get these beautiful photos though.
