We had the pleasure of premiering Victories at Sea's magnificant tune, 'Sirens'. Since then, we like to think we've become pretty good friends. Such good pals, in fact, that the band have sent us a photo diary of their time touring Ireland with Editors.

Whether your a fan of one band, both of them or just vintage photography, this photo diary has something for everyone. Backstage shots, exclusive photos of the performances and general inter-show goings-on - witness the glamourous lifestyle of a touring band with Victories at Sea's exclusive shots, only at Gigwise.

  • Steve Victories at Sea at sea: On a boat, get your towels ready it's about to go down P&O style busting five knots

  • An 8 hour ferry trip from Liverpool to Ireland: One small band, one small splitter, one shed load of truckers and not one Kris Kristofferson lookalike to be seen

  • Belfast Bus Battle at The Limelight: we’ve got an X-Box but no working controllers, it’s this one small difference that awards Editors the win

  • Belfast pre sound check: Ian (Tour Manager) and JP demonstrate a creditable resistance to rider temptation via changing strings and looking the other way

  • Belfast pre sound check Nick: It%u2019s our first time ever playing in Belfast and Northern Ireland have reached the Euro Finals it%u2019s destined to be a party atmosphere at this one.

  • The view from the merchandise desk: Editors smash it home on their first night touring ‘In Dream’ with Papillion still the ultimate crowd pleaser

  • Southbound to Dublin: Feeling delicate and anti-banana (Titanic Ale untouched)

  • Hashtag Graffiti: we can only dream one day someone writes love for us on the wall outside The Olympia Theatre along with their Twitter handle, modern fandom hey?

  • Backstage Dublin Nick: Our drummer in reflective and horizontal mood

  • Sound check in Dublin: The Olympia is quite possibly the most architecturally beautiful venue we’ve ever graced, and for it to be in a city so special to us, the ultimate buzz.

  • Dressing Room Dublin: Pre show getting ready to nail the end of this short but sweet run of dates

  • Dublin Olympia: tired and full of beauty easily one of our favourite shows ever.

  • Drawing to a close: a warm room, an even hotter stage, ultimate happiness.

  • Afters: Returning to a Champagne gift from the Editors boys, the party starts. Many thanks to Editors and their crew for everything, legends.
