November 29 2010 - The National played the first of three concerts at London’s Brixton Academy on Monday.
The band thrilled fans with an enchanting set that included songs from recent album ‘High Violet’.
The group also delved deep into their back catalogue, performing ‘Apartment Story’, ‘Mistaken For Strangers’ and ‘Fake Empire’ from their 2007 album ‘Boxer’, as well as tracks from 2005’s ‘Alligator’.
The National play Brixton Academy again tonight (November 30) and tomorrow (December 1). For more details and to buy The National tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
