February 23 2011 - The annual NME Awards took place at the Brixton Academy in London.
My Chemical Romance were the big winners, taking home the award for Best International Band and Best Video for ‘Na Na Na’.
Muse were named Best British Band, while Foals won Best Track for ‘Spanish Sahara’. Arcade Fire, who were not present, won Best Album.
Some of the biggest names in music walked the brick carpet, including Godlike Genius winner Dave Grohl along with the rest of his Foo Fighters band mates. PJ Harvey and Pulp’s Jarvis Cocke joined celebrities like Jo Whiley, Laura Whitmore and Alexa Chung before the event got under way.
